Challenge:
MAGNA launched the Equity Upfront™ in 2021 to spotlight and support media partners with Black, Hispanic, Asian, and LGBTQIA+ ownership. By 2022, the initiative had grown and needed a more cohesive and scalable brand identity that could grow year over year while staying aligned with the purpose-driven mission.
Solution:
I led a full brand identity relaunch in 2022—redesigning the logo, refining the typography, and establishing an adaptable visual system that evolves annually through refreshed patterns and lockups tied to that year’s theme. The 2023 event, featuring speakers like Sherri Shepherd and Ice Cube, built on that foundation with a bold, energized look that honored both the mission and the moment.
